He makes some of the most brilliant, shining, stunning pottery in Mata Ortiz as the present offering clearly illustrates. Note the brightness and brilliance of the colors on this piece, and the impeccable painting. The lines are sharp, the colors solid! Cesar is known for the exquisite form and the impeccability of his strong vibrant colors.
This is a large pot measuring 14 inches high by 9 inches in diameter at it widest part. Note that the complexity of the painting and its brilliance remain intact in the indentations on the four sides of the pottery.
Note also that the true colors are shown in the first picture and the thumb pic. The others were taken indoors and the lighting is far from doing justice to this magnificent piece.
