Stunning Shyatesa White Dove Acoma Pottery
This is authentic hand made, and hand painted pottery by Shyatesa White Dove a premier potter from the Acoma pueblo. The pot measures 13 1/2 inches in diameter and 15 inches in height and is decorated with a superbly executed rendition of the Acoma parrot.
Shyatesa is well known to collectors of eclectic Acoma pottery for her thin walls and impeccable painting. Unfortunately, she is presently not producing a great deal of pottery because her duties working on social functions at Acoma allow her no time to devote in working with the clay. I feel privileged being able to offer such a rare piece to collectors. The coloring of the pot is solid, and the line drawing very sharp. The pot shown here is a signature White Dove creation that will enhance any collection of Southwestern Pueblo pottery. The pot is in perfect condition, with no scratches, chips, or other defects. And is signed by Shyatesa.
