John Aragon Famous Bug Acoma Pottery
John Aragon is the son of noted Acoma potter Florence Aragon and was born into the Acoma pueblo on November 24, 1962. He learned the pottery making tradition from his grandmother, Lupe Aragon. John has been potting for over 30 years creating a distinctive line of pottery. Mostly he is known for his bug or lizard pots, like the one shown here.
