  Dawn Navasie Feathers Hopi Pottery
Dawn Navasie was born in 1961 and is the granddaughter of Roscoe and Agnes Navasie and the daughter of Eunice (Fawn) Navasie. She is sister of Dolly "White Swann" Joe Navasie, Darrel Navasie and Gregory Navasie and Fawn Garcia Navasie. She has been making pottery since 1978 and works in the traditional style of Native American potters.

Dawn's pots are hand-coiled, pit fired, stone polished and painted with natural, home-made paints. This piece features a lovely traditional eagle tale design painted on opposite sides of the pot. It has fine, thin walls and perfect symmetry. This piece is 6 3/4 inches tall and 7 3/4 inches in diameter. It is signed, "Dawn N." with her wave hallmark.
