Candelaria Suazo Sgraffito Santa Clara Pottery

Candelario Suazo is a Santa Clara potter and sgraffito artist who has been creating works of art on clay for some time. She specializes in black-ware jars and bowls that she decorates with Avanyus, birds and other animals. She also uses a special touch to amplify a part of the pottery in red as is done in the present example.
